What we're running.

From semester-long simulations to hackathons, FINS events pair financial thinking with hands-on building. Dates below are confirmed; ideas we're still exploring are listed separately as concepts, not scheduled events.

Retire Right

September 14 – October 11, 2026 · 4 weeks

A month-long personal finance simulation where participants begin with the same fictional financial profile and make strategic financial decisions throughout the competition. Weekly workshops, decisions, life events, and clues shape each participant’s strategy — the objective is to finish with the highest projected retirement corpus.

Tax planning and retirement instruments

FinTech Hackathon

October 23–24, 2026 · 2 days

A FinTech hackathon where participants design, build, and pitch technology-driven financial solutions — spanning saving, investing, lending, payments, or other financial problems. Selected concepts may be considered for further development through the club. The event is expected to involve industry or alumni judges.
